I just found out about Dylan and am absolutely devastated. Dylan and I first met in Kerrville. I’ll never forget when I first saw him, he had the biggest smile and lit up the room. We immediately became friends and would go to meetings together and listen to Kevin Gates. When I tried leaving my sober living home, Dylan and his friend drove around town looking for me and took me back. Two years later, Dylan and I crossed paths again in Houston at Taylor and I couldn’t believe that we ran into each other again. He once again convinced me to stay whenever I felt tempted to leave. We both loved our families, talked about the family trips we went on, talked about our goals in life, such as finishing college, and supported each other when one was struggling. I don’t think I would’ve gotten through that time of my life if it weren’t for him. He was so kind, funny, and selfless- truly one of a kind and he never expected anything in return for his help and kindness. I am so incredibly sorry to Dylan’s family. He spoke so highly of all of you and I wanted to share that with you. Your family will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

We celebrated your brother’s 21st birthday without you😔😢. There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t think about you. I love you, Pooh Bear.

The closer it gets to Aug 20th the more depressed I become. Dylan, I love and miss you everyday. Grieving your death is the most difficult thing I’ve ever done😞☹️😢😭.

I’d like to send my condolences and a prayer for strength for Dylan’s entire family. I knew him from KCHS. I’d sit with him and his dad after school and just talk and have a good time. He is a joy to be around. He was Always smilin when I seen him even if he wasn’t having the best day. I moved around a lot but when I landed at KCHS, Dylan and his dad were good people to me. I’m only 26 myself. When I met Dylan my moms was fightin cancer. She’s passed since then but it was because of good ppl like him that I was able to spend time with during those stressful years in my life that helped me get through it. I know it is not easy seeing someone u love transition from this Earth. May God keep a Hedge of protection around you all, His everlasting love, and His strength be with Dylan’s entire Family. Long Live Dylan🙏🏽

I just heard the news and I'm so sad that I couldn't say goodbye.  Dylan was light hearted, amazing, intelligent and most of all loved his family deeply. To his family, I cannot fathom your pain and heartache. I wish I had words to comfort you all. I will miss Dylan's infectious smile and bright blue eyes. Praying for peace and comfort to all who are mourning this incredible loss. 


Just found out and wish I could have been there to say my goodbyes to Dylan. He was a good friend. I will miss you dude! I can’t freaking believe this!
