Thank you for being there for me and my family and children. My girls love their tio shorty lol we will hold you close to our hearts. We love you forever and always. Remember, when Xóchitl said, you were her boyfriend, laughing out loud, and you said my girlfriends to learn to make tortillas and beans she said I don’t know how but I will try. My girls will never know how great you were going to be in life. We set goals for you that people never thought you would conquer but you were constantly proving people wrong, and I always give you that look I told you so. We will miss you and love you forever Shorty this is a memory when we left the zoo and we ended up stopping in downtown and taking pictures. I feel so upset with myself because you have all those pictures in your phone. I love you so much dog say what’s up to my brother up there and Tito and your grandma the legend you would always talk about. God truly is blessed when he gained you 😭😭😭😭😭

Dwayne was someone very special. We have a very small circle in our family and not just anyone comes around. I had the privilege of knowing him through my sister in law. He became my brother’s nephew. So in family gatherings, we decided to call each other “homies” and “vata/vato loco.  He sure loved his Raiders. At a Christmas secret Santa gift exchange, I gave Dwayne a bunch of Raiders items and he was ecstatic. Especially a blanket that he said he took everywhere because it kept him warm in many “cold” places.  Including his beanie which he wore proudly. He was humble in showing you when he appreciated something and vice versa, he’d do the same in return. 
We’d joke around about sharing family secret food recipes. I tried to guess his ingredients and he’d say I was wrong only to keep trying and we’d laugh about it. He made the best pico de gallo and ended up telling how he made it. To the detail because if he had passion in something, he wanted you to hear him out. I did. 
He was a kid at heart. Finding his way through this world. My condolences to the family. We will miss his laughter, passion to the things he loved  and a big heart. I will miss my “homie”. 
May there be justice in this situation and peace to all that knew and loved him in knowing that God is always in control. 💙

Thinking of you, and your family. Wishing you moments of peace, and comfort as you remember Dwayne who was so close to you. He was a kind, and attentive man whose light will always be remembered.

Dwayne was a so loving soul he thought me how to love unconditionally and with no regret. He loved and he was the kind of person that if you needed help he was going to help, even if he was struggling he would still help however he could. He loved even the animals he was so gentle even though this world wasn't gentle to him he was. He is the one that thought me to say I love you no matter what. He thought me how to be patient graceful he helped me see and heal my heart I know God used him to help me heal because I did. God is good and I give him all he glory and thank him for giving me the opportunity to be with Dwayne I will forever carry him in my heart. Adriana TIA! how he would call me I love him so much !!!!!!!!

Words cannot explain the sadness I feel in this moment, but I will take peace in knowing that you rolling with our Father in heaven. You were always respectfully to me and my family and we loved you dearly. I am so happy that you got to attend church services with me getting to know God better, and I know your smiling down on us all. I will truly miss our talks about life on those long road trips back and forth to Louisiana. You fought the good fight my brother you will be greatly missed. I love you lil homie and that’s from my lips to Gods ears.
