Born on November 6, 1962, in Concord, Massachusetts, Bob was raised in Boulder, Colorado, where he spent his early years exploring the mountains, skiing, and crafting delightful mischief. He eventually found his way to Texas, where his adventurous spirit flourished in the deserts and bayous. Bob embraced life with a "Why not?" attitude and a peculiar fondness for McDonald's. Bob was an independent thinker with a generous spirit and insatiable curiosity.
Bob valued loyalty and compassion and was always the first to offer help. This selfless desire to help others propelled his careers in healthcare, from firefighter to paramedic and then medical doctor. He is survived by his loving family : wife Huyen Duong, children Ava Phelan, Daniel Phelan and Robert Phelan IV, grandson Robby Phelan, parents Robert and Mary Phelan, and siblings Rebecca Sulka and William Phelan, who will continue to share endless stories of his remarkable life.
