Special Thanks to Montebello Home Care for providing the love and care to Granny that allowed her to stay at home where she wanted to be. Specifically I would like to thank stormy and Bobbi for all of their help starting this process. She enjoyed talking Red Hatters with Stormy. Thank you to caregivers Debbie, Clarissa, Raylene and Kellie. Each of you formed a special connection and she loved hearing about you and your family and of course "giving advice".
To Debbie and Kellie, this past week was especially hard and your professionalism, love, care and hand holding was very comforting to her.
To Home Care Select Hospice for providing everything for her equipment and comfort at home these past few months. Your care and concern for Granny was very comforting to her. Specifically, I would like to thank Nurse Julie for her weekly visits providing anything she needed for her care and comfort, and allowing weekly nail inspections!
To Aisha and Cyndi, she always enjoyed your visits and prayers.
To Private Care Given and friend Kristi, when Nina called in a panic for me to hurry and call you, I knew you must be a very special person. Our Saturday hair, nail, luncheons and sometimes lively conversations will be missed! Sunday was church day and Granny was always dressed to impress and accessorized to the tee, which she loved!
To Nina, a special friend and longtime hairdresser, Saturday's will never be the same!
To Grannies Cornerstone and Remnant church friends, thank you for always staying in touch. She loved all the phone calls cards and visitors especially Betty when she would bring her grandson.
To Kirby for always being there to help Granny day or night for years and Cheryl always helping along with nightly calls to check on her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Doylene's memory may be made to Remnant Church Houston, 3329 Cypress Creek Pkwy, Houston 77068.
