Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend Dorothy “Dottie” Oleta Walla passed away March 10th, 2023 in Spring, Texas. Dorothy was born on November 15th, 1931 in Sheldon, Texas. She graduated from San Jacinto High School in 1949, and on April 7th, 1962, she married Henry “Hank” Walla. She retired from Hughes Waters and Askanase as a legal secretary. She was a long standing member of Memorial Baptist Church, Spring, Texas. Dorothy enjoyed RVing with her family, fishing, picking peaches in Fredericksburg, Texas and was an excellent cook. She is survived by her son David Walla and his wife, Ana Walla, her granddaughter Elisabeth Adams, and her husband Robert Adams. Dorothy will be remembered by her loving family and many friends for her sharp wit and sense of humor. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, March 24th, 2023, at Earthman Resthaven. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25th, 2023 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven.
