Dorothy Mae Volpe, age 85, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, January 3, 2012. She was born on November 28, 1926 to Walter and Gussie Rister. She is survived by her husband, John A. Volpe, daughter Sherry Fox, son John S. Volpe, grandchildren; Zachary Fox and wife Stephanie, Rachael Mittendorf and husband Robert, and Jordan Volpe. Great-grandchildren; Sadie and Piper Fox, Olivia, Brady and Violet Mittendorf.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5 from 6-8pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Services will be held on Friday, January 6 at 3pm at the Memorial Oaks Chapel with interment to follow.
