She was born to George and Sadie Fields in San Antonio, Texas on January 30, 1936. She graduated from Reagan High School in 1954 and later attended business school.

One of her hobbies was rescuing cats and giving them the life they deserved. However, she was best known for her love for The Lord. She loved the work she did for her church so greatly that she even attended pastor training and would volunteer her time at Memorial Hermann Hospital as a visiting Chaplin.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter Vickie Keen (Murrell (Buddy) Keen); her daughter Brenda Matejek (Emil Matejek); her son David Rogers; her grandson Murrell Keen (Korina Keen), her grandson Eric Keen, her grandson Joe Matejek (Carrie Meunier) and her granddaughter Rebecca Rogers.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Donald Wiley; her father George Fields and her mother Sadie Fields; and Herbert Rogers.
Dorothy also leaves 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, she requested that donations be made to New Covenant Church - 901 Wilson Rd, Humble, TX 77338.
