Born on August 19,1927 in Harlingen, TX to Lauris E. and Edith Mae Stubbs.
Survived by daughter Sandra E. Freeman, grandchildren Carolyn McNabb, Tina Bishop, Paul Hardin and Brian Hardin, Nephew Robert Stubbs and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Dorothy was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, sewing, her faith and her family. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Cedar Park, TX and previously a long-time member of Baptist Temple in Houston, TX.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years James P. Dunlap, daughters Carol Ann McKnight and Gloria Jean Dunlap; brother Donald E. Stubbs.
A visitation for Dorothy Louise will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, Texas 77008. Funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, Texas 77008. A committal service will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Dr., Houston, Texas.
