Dorothy worked for the Spring Branch Independent School District for 18 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star for over 60 years and was a member of Tallowood Baptist Church in Houston for 47 years.
Preceeded in death by her parents, George Harvey and Clara Parks; husband, Roy D. Kirk. Dorothy is survived by her sister, Margaret Williams; daughters, Donna Jean Ashley and husband, James, Deborah Lea Scheffler and husband, Michael; son, Craig Kirk and wife, Janie; 4 grandchildren, 2 Great-grandchildren and 2 Great great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will begin at 2:00 p.m, Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Waltrip Funeral Directors where chapel services will begin at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, Restland Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
