Dorothy "Dottie" Denney Voss

Dottie attended Northwestern University and was married the 28th of September, 1946 to Forrest “Woody” Voss. After numerous moves, they arrived in Houston in 1974 and became members of River Oaks Country Club in 1975. Her activities over the years were showing horses, playing golf, duplicate bridge, and travel.

Dottie is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years and survived by her children Camela Voss Dillard and husband, Bob of Huntington Beach, CA; Forrest Denney Voss of New York City, NY; and Craig Denney Voss and wife, Martha of Houston, TX. Her grandchildren are Bryce Dillard, Melissa Fischer, Emily Voss, Parker Voss, Carter Voss, Michael Voss, and Elizabeth Voss. She is also survived by her great-grandsons, Nolan Dillard and Jacob Fischer.

The memorial service is to be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Monday, the 13th of April, in the Chapel of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 3471 Westheimer Road, where Dr. Linda Christians, Executive Pastor, is to officiate.

In lieu of customary remembrances, contributions in Dottie’s memory may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
