Dorothy B Carr

Ms. Dorothy B. Carr was born on November 18th, 1935 to Thomas Brookshire Jr. and Elise Vaughn.

Dorothy graduated from high school in Lufkin in 1954 and would go on to work for years in Houston Texas as an executive assistant in the Oil industry. In her spare time she was very fond of needle work, embroidery, and was also an avid reader. In later years Dorothy lived with her sister at Clarewood House in Houston until the time of her passing

She is survived by her sister Marian, as well as her nieces Ilene Harris and husband Ken, and Karen Kroeger and her husband Glenn.

A funeral service for Dorothy will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077, followed by a committal service from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
