Doris "Bobbie" Edgley Harris, 90, passed away on April 17, 2014. She was born on February 4, 1924 to George Edgley and Elsie Daughters Edgley in Houston, TX. Doris was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Spirit of Joy!. She was affiliated with the P.E.O. and was a proud PTA President for several years. Doris was also a Realtor for many years and won numerous sales awards and befriended many during those years. She had a gift of making everyone feel comfortable and important. She had an infectious personality and never met a stranger. Doris had a strong faith in God and shared it openly. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly. Family will receive friends on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 10am in the Family Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Brookside Memorial Park. A reception will be held at the funeral home immediately following all services.
