A devoted mother and hard worker, she spent the majority of her career at Houston Lighting and Power in the Government Affairs department. Never one to sit still for long, when she wasn't working or busy with her son, she could be found gardening, at church, or simply enjoying some time with her many friends.
One of eight children, she is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Billy, Thomas, Richard, and Duane Arnold, her sister Joan Arnold and her beloved husband Roy Kobak. She leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, and many cherished memories to all who knew her. Donna is survived by her son Scott, her brother Vaughn Story and sister Kathy Nicodemus, as well as her cherished dog Paco.
The family would like to recognize the outpouring of love from all her many friends; in particular Patsy Duke, Beverly Kallina, and the Barraza family, each of whom has been a constant source of love and support throughout her long illness.
