Donna was born to Leon and Fern Kimball July 6, 1936, in Maryville, MO. She moved to Houston during high school, attended Court Reporting school, married the love of her life Stanley and raised two daughters.
Donna is survived by her daughter Michele Pavlas and husband Willie, identical twin sister, Patsy Dominy and brother, Michael Kimball, Dwight Janoff (son in law), Emily Janoff (granddaughter), Samuel Janoff (grandson) and his fiancé Ashley Alberti.
She was preceded in death by Stanley Alberts (husband), Leon and Fern Kimball (parents), Kimberly Janoff (daughter), Rita Kimball (sister) and Troy Dominy (nephew).
Donna was a very hard worker her entire life as she worked and traveled with her family in the carnival starting at a very young age. She graduated from Austin High School in 1954 and later became a Court Reporter. She then worked as a Secretary for The Coastal Corp until her retirement. Donna loved family gatherings with all her family surrounding her. She had such a kind and caring heart and was always wanting to lend a helping hand. She was so proud of her family. She loved showing everyone her husband’s art and helping both of her daughters develop their businesses where she could be found frequently helping at their office and at The Houston Rodeo greeting and helping customers.
After retirement Donna pursued her greatest passion of gardening and was deeply involved with the Fort Bend County Master Gardeners where she developed many dear friends whom she loved and
cherished. She became a Master Gardener in 2002, was later honored with numerous awards and was so deserving and proud of her Lifetime Master Gardener Award, received in 2022.
In the later years, Donna and her twin sister Patsy were a ray of sunshine, always greeting friends and friends to be with a hug and a kiss. They were always together, went to Walmart in Pearland daily and frequented the Sugarland Town Center to enjoy weekend entertainment. They got a big kick out of random strangers approaching them to chat and take pictures with them, many of those strangers becoming sweet friends.
Donna ’s joy for life will be missed by all who knew her, especially her family, dear friends and neighbors.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 1:00pm at Forest Park Lawndale Chapel of the Angels. Visitation at 12:00, service at 1:00, graveside service at 2:00.
