Donald G Ritter

The Honorable Donald G. Ritter, born February 6, 1933, passed away in peace on January 11, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife, three sons, three daughters-in- law, and nine grandchildren (each of whom thought they were his favorite grandchild).

He survived a rough childhood during the depression to become a loving husband, father, veteran, lawyer, and judge. Those who knew him well were often entertained by his quick wit and love for brevity. In his funeral planning book under obituary he wrote “keep it short.”

A Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral Home Chapel 7010 Chetwood Dr., Houston, TX 77081 on Monday, January 16, 2017 starting at 9:00am followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00pm.
