Donald was born and raised in Houston, Texas.
Donald loved to play bingo and to put puzzles together; he also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond, and Lillian McDaniel.
Left to cherish in his memory is his former wife and friend, Joylene; Sons, Donald Jr, Ronald, and Todd & wife Mindy; Grandchildren; Amanda McDaniel, Misty Kacal, Ehrin Bass, Travis McDaniel, and Jenna McDaniel; Great Grandchildren; Marisa Lange, Zakary Lange, Aiden Dozier, Ella Kacal, Faythe Lange, Carter Dozier, Matthew Bass, And Joshua Bass. He is also survived by his siblings, Raymond Sr, Gayle, and Susan, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The funeral will be at Brookside Funeral Home,13747 Eastex Frwy, Houston, TX 77039. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. with the service following at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow to the family plot at Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m.
