Donald Bedwell Clifton

Donald Bedwell Clifton, age 90, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 in Houston, Texas. Donald was born March 21, 1932 in Wichita, Kansas. Donald attended Sam Houston State University and the University of Texas before becoming a Pharmacist. He also served his country as a member of the Army. He enjoyed playing the clarinet in the band, watching movies, traveling, and watching Longhorn football. Donald was involved with his Faith, Hope, and Love Sunday School classes at Bear Creek Baptist Church.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Roy C. Clifton and Muriel M. Green. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Dorothy Snell Clifton; son Steven Clifton and wife Dawn, daughter Janet Shell, son Gary Clifton and wife Michelle, son Carlton Clifton and wife Charlene, as well as twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Donald will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079, followed by a graveside service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
