Born in Houston, Texas on May 14, 1953 to the late Henry and Lucille Alford.
He later moved to Bremond, Texas and was raised by his late grandparents, Ocie and Cora Proctor.
Donald received his education at Bremond High School.
Donald Alford was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Ray Alford.
On Wednesday, October 28, 2020, Donald departed this life leaving to cherish his memories, his brother, Howard G. Alford of Waco; and his sister-in-law, Jacqueline Williams of Houston; two nieces, Yolanda Ononiwu of Houston, and Lola Gindratt of Waco; two nephews, Terry Alford Jr. and Jonathan Alford both of Houston, as well as a host of great-nieces and nephews and other relatives and close friends.
A special thanks to Robert Lee, Donald's caretaker of 15 years, who was by his side, day after day, until his passing.
