Domitilo Guerra Valadez

Domitilo Valadez, 81, of Houston Texas, passed away June 8, 2023. He was born and raised in Matamoros, Mexico on May 12, 1942. Upon visiting San Antonio, Texas in 1960, he met Antonia; they became friends and for years wrote letters to one another. In December of 1969, he married Antonia and began their life together raising their four children. Domitilo is survived by his wife of 54 years, Antonia Valadez; daughter Marisa Valadez Warren; sons Jose Alfredo Valadez, Tilo Valadez, John Valadez, his grandchildren Josh Gutierrez, Brittany Warren, Jeremy Warren, Taylor Valadez, Esmeè Garcia-Valadez, his mother María de Jesùs Guerra Valadez, his brother Jośe de Jesùs Valadez Guerra, and sisters Sara Sanchez and Maria del Socorro Benavides . His father Juan Valadez Lòpez preceded him in death.

A visitation for Domitilo will be held Monday, June 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A rosary service will occur at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 9:30 AM at Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Church, 1111 St Joseph Pkwy, Houston, TX 77002.
