Ding Wong "Donald" Lee

Ding Wong “Donald” Lee, age 90, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010 in Houston, Texas. Donald is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lai Jean and his children: Mark and wife Alice, Carol Go and husband Jerome, Dr. Ava Lee and husband Jason Tran, and Sharon and husband James Lee. He is also survived by ten grandchildren: Harrison, Eric, Joshua, Benjamin, Katherine, Samuel, Ethan, Kristin, Rachel, and Grant.

Donald received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from National University of Kwangsi and his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston. Donald was a project engineer with Fish Engineering and Construction Company for most of his professional career. As a loving father and grandfather, Donald always said his proudest accomplishments were his children and grandchildren.

The visitation will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home (Memorial Oaks 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079). Donald’s Celebration of Life will be Tuesday December 21, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Oaks. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks cemetery.
