Diane Vasquez Armendariz

Diane Armendariz, 65, of Houston Tx and longtime Manhattan, KS resident passed away June 28th 2012 at Kindred Memorial Hospital. She was born April 25th 1947, in Seguin Tx, to Joseph and Rose Villareal. She married her loving husband Noe S. Armendariz October 2, 1972 who has preceeded her in death.

She is survived by her three sons: David Martinez, Noé Armendáriz II, and Jaime Armendáriz, all of Houston; three daughters, Tina Doyle (Norman) Spokane, WA, Elena LaPlante (Kevin), Festus, MO, Sisa Armendáriz, (Tony Coronado), Houston, sisters Tina Spring, Debra Woo (Mike), Mary Slater, Marc Villareal, Roland Villareal, 20 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Rose Villareal, her loving husband Noe S Armendariz, her brother Joe Villareal Jr, her sister Diamantina Villareal, brother in law, David Armendáriz, a sister in law, Lidia Cordoba and her in laws Rómulo and Juliana Salido de Armendáriz.

Diane and Noe Armendariz raised their six children in Manhattan Kansas where they both recieved degrees at Kansas State University. Diane worked as a Nurse, a caregiver, a loving mother and respected wife.

She loved to cook, paint and clip coupons, but most importantly she loved giving her children advice and being a devoted wife. She also enjoyed antiquing and visiting garage sales on the weekends with her dear husband.

She will be greatly missed for her guidance, unconditional love, support, her courageness and of course her strength.
