Delia (Degollado) Espinoza, age 68, of Houston, Texas passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Delia was born in Rio Bravo Tamps on March 17, 1954 to parents Guadalupe and Julia Mercado. She was a member of Principe De Paz. Delia had a passion for cooking and enjoyed it most when it was for her grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister.
Delia is survived by her loving husband Luis A. Espinoza Sr.; son Luis A. Espinoza Jr.; daughter Mayra Valdez; grandchildren Luis A. Espinoza III, Leslie A. Garcia, Mauro Espinoza, Israel Espinoza, Erika Espinoza, Ismael Espinoza, Josue Espinoza, Gladys Espinoza, Sarah Espinoza, Andrew Valdez, and Isaiah Valdez; great grandchildren Nathan, Noah, and Noel Espinoza.
A visitation for Delia will be held Monday, October 10, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. A committal service will occur immediately after at Brookside Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Luis A. Espinoza III, Mauro Espinoza, Israel Espinoza, Ismael Espinoza, Andrew Valdez and Isaiah Valdez.
