Dehlia Marie Rodriguez left this world unexpectedly on July 25th 2021.

Born on March 16,1978 to Tomas Rodriguez and Darleen Wood.

Dehlia grew up in Denver Harbor a historic community located in East Houston, TX where she attended Eliot Elementary School, McReynolds Middle School and then on to George I Sanchez Charter School.

Dehlia met her Husband Frank Carlos Castro on June 1996, they were blessed with a beautiful baby boy their Son Frank Thomas Castro on September 2011. Dehlia was a very humble, giving, joyful, compassionate, lively, fun and outgoing soul. She was a loving Wife and caring Mother to her son whom she adored and cherished. Although she was taken too soon she truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as socializing, chatting, and spending time with those she held close to her heart. She attended many social events, was a great supporter of small businesses and was an active member of many social media groups. Dehlia was a resilient young woman who leaves behind her loved ones with a deep and positive imprint on their hearts.

She is survived by her Husband Frank, her Son Frankie, her Father Tomas, her Mother Darleen, her Mother in law Carol, her Grandmother Lily, her Grandfather Ricardo, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces and Cousins.

She is preceded in death by her Grandfather Harold, her Grandmother Juanita, her Aunt Sherry, her Uncle Donald, her Father in law Carlos De La Rosa Castro and Aunt Betty.

A visitation for Dehlia will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Joseph Catholic Church, 1505 Kane St, Houston, TX 77007. A committal service will occur Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas 77023.
