So many great memories of good times at the house on First Avenue in Bloomington!  Deb was the first to get her drivers license so she droves us around in her Dad's pick up and off to Embers for coffee.  When we put too many miles on to cause suspicion, she drove backwards.  What were we thinking?

Sleepovers, dancing in the basement, hanging out at the park, crushing on the same boy..............too many memories to list.  So sorry we lost touch after she moved on to Texas but will always cherish the friendship we had. 

My heart goes out the family as you travel these difficult days ahead.  I pray that she is now enjoying everlasting life with God and resting in peace.   

I have so many memories of my friend. She introduced me to country dancing. As you all know that was her love!! But not more than her children!! It was her kids, grands, and friends that made her shine! Plus her love of God gave her so much peace. I will forever hold you in my heart, my friend Debbie. This photo from Debbie's last visit to Minnesota in October 2017, is representative of the type of friendship we had. Although we lived miles apart, when we would get together, it was like NO time had passed. She truly has been a wonderful BFF since the day we met working together in high school at AirLaCarte in Bloomington & I'll miss her terribly. RIP my dearest friend.

Debbie was SO very proud of her beautiful children, grandchildren & family, who all filled her heart with such joy. She always enjoyed sharing stories & pictures.  

Growing up with Deb in our group of neighborhood friends was a lot of fun and excitement... Deb was in my wedding in 1972... we had a lot of fun!... she always had a smile and a lot of energy! So many memories to fill my heart... God must have needed her special smile in heaven to call her home... I will miss you my dear friend until we meet again. My heart goes out to all your family and friends.

We were BFF!! We were born 4 days apart. I met my beautiful friend in high school, and we became fast friends! We were soul sisters! After we graduated, her parents moved to Texas, and Deb asked me to move in to be roommates. We both worked at Air La Carte (an in-flight kitchen that provided food for United, Braniff, and Allegheny airlines), on the 3rd shift. We had so much fun! Debbie, Nancy Borsch, Melody Fay and I, always drove to Hudson, WI, to go to Dibbos Bar to dance the night away to a band called Sunshine World. That's where she met her first love, Sonny. Deb was in my first wedding. She was a kind, loving woman, and was a real looker! She had the most beautiful red hair, and soooooo many freckles! I called them angel kisses! We used to hang out at Lake Nokomis too, playing frisbee & swimming. We always found a spot by a huge tree, so that Melody & I could play in the sun, but Deb sat in the shade, because she would burn so bad. I had a true love for her, and will miss hearing her voice. She's in heaven soaring with the angels! RIP Deb. You are in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I remember growing up with Debbie and Lori. They live kitty corner behind us, they camped with us girls in our back years. She was great at making Maccaroni and cheese for lunch. Did a lot of listening to music and dancing. She was wonderful. Lost touch with her when my folks divorced. I think my sister Wendy has talked to her in more recent years. No doubt God has bought a very special Angel home. Rest In Peace Debbie.

Oh man I have so many memories. I practically lived with Tiffany and Nicole every weekend and boy did Tiffany and I always get in trouble.  Debbie was my second mom and she showed me so much love even when I had problems with my parents. I always remember that anytime I would run into Debbie out in public she would be so loud and I would say shhhhhh lol. I may have even been popped by her a few times but I still would go and spend night.

The woman I've considered my "Ma" for 23 years went to be with our Lord on Sunday. Momma Debbie was 1 of a kind. She was the 1st person my dad,Braden and I met when we moved to the Houston area 23 years ago. She introduced me to her daughters so I would know people and we've been life long friends/family since. Debbie loved me,my husband  and my kiddos and always told people I was the adopted Okie daughter,lol, and I always said she was my Texas Momma! My kids always called her Nana Debbie and she loved them to pieces! Debbie was there for me and helped me through some of the saddest,and hardest times in life. At my wedding she helped me get ready and did all the Mother of the bride stuff with the biggest smile ever!  Debbie was someone who loved with her whole heart and soul, and everyone she loves knows it and felt it. Her kids and grandkids were her whole world. She lived for these grandbabies and did as much as possible with them every chance she got. 
Momma Debbie, thank you for loving me and accepting me as one of your own. Your love meant more to me then you or anyone realized and the care,support and guidance you gave me over the years I will be forever grateful. You will always be my "MA", I will cherish my memories of you and think of you often. We all have 1 hell of Angel watching over us in Heaven now. I love you momma!😭💔

I met Debra on a Thursday night while she was out with her daughter, Nicole. I had no idea that night would change my life forever. Several years later Nicole and I were married, and Debra became Mom. Throughout the years we have had many wonderful memories with Mom. She opened her home up to our family while we had a new one being constructed, and we lived with her for four months. Sometime later, while she was undergoing chemo, Mom stayed with us for a period. We have vacationed together, celebrated the holidays, and enjoyed each other’s company. I have watched her endure cancer and fight with all that she had until it was time to be called home.  Through it all she held tight to her love of family and Christ. It is and will always be an honor to be her Son-In-Law. I love you Mom and I will miss you dearly.

Aunt Debbie, as we all called her, was such a wonderful person. She always welcomed you and accepted you as you were. She loved to dance and she always had a way to get people to dance with her.  My condolences to the family. Aunt Debbie be will be truly missed but will never be forgotten.  She touched our hearts and our souls. 

Many know that I was a great skater, I believe it was because of my mother. She was the reason we loved going. May my memories of her will forever be in my heart. Love you Momma
