Debra L. Burlison was born in Houston, Texas on December 29, 1954. She went home to be with our Lord on May 6, 2013.
Debi was a treasured sister, aunt, friend and co-worker who was an inspiration to anyone she met. She never missed a chance to tell you how much she loved the Lord and about the blessings she had received from Him. She also made sure we knew what God can do for us. Debi had a strong faith and saw cancer as just a little set back that would be overcome by prayer, determination and a positive attitude. She never questioned why this path had been given to her and never once doubted her faith. Everything she ever wanted, she has now. We can see her standing beside Jesus with a giant smile on her face while holding hands with her mother and father and praising God to the fullest.
I can hear her saying, "OHHHH HOW MAGNIFICENT 'HE' IS... and Mom, Happy Mother's Day."
