Debbie was born November 20, 1955 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. She attended Milby High school. A young widow, she raised 3 children Michelle Tuey, Jayme Faulkner and Michial Sampson. Later, Debbie went back to school and graduated from Real Estate school and became a Real Estate Agent. Debbie’ son, Michial, was her ultimate passion, and she devoted herself to working while being the best mother possible to him. He was her entire world before he passed away.
In later years, she retired and enjoyed actively spending time with her brother, Mark Summer, John Wald and sister, Denise O’Donnell traveling on cruises and spending time with her grandchildren. Debbie’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and listening to music. Some of her favorites were Rod Stewart and Elvis. She loved to cook and eat a good meal, dance, and celebrate life with her family and friends. She shared her strong faith in Jesus Christ with her family, friends and grandchildren. She impacted many lives with her qualities of strength, perseverance, faith and wisdom. Unfortunately, that would all come to an end in mid-2024 when Debbie was diagnosed with Glioblastoma brain cancer. Her daughter Michelle, sister Denise and daughter, Jayme assisted Debbie with care until she died peacefully at Memorial Hermann hospital. She was known for spunk and fight even until the end.
Debbie will forever be a bright, guiding light to her family and loved ones.
