He passed away at his residence in Cypress, Texas.
He was born in St. Joseph, Michigan. He previously served as President of the Hospital Volunteers at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, Florida. He worked for Texaco for 34 years, before retiring. He served in the Army during the Korean War, from 1950-1952. His interests were primarily church work and music.
He is survived by his spouse, Beverley Newans Wagner, whom he married on August 1, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is also survived by his 2 sons, Gregory and Paul Wagner, 2 daughters-in-law, Rhonda and Christy Wagner, and 3 granddaughters, Emily, Natalie, and Sarah Wagner.
