Davis D. Hunt, 76, entered into eternal rest on May 27, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Agnes Hunt. His is survived by his cousins, Verlene Legler, Henrian Swofford, Lilly Andress, Karolyn Bowles, Kathy Kucera Miller and Mary Louise Campion. As a respected engineer, Davis was one of those rare people who either knew, or could figure out "how things work'. He had a good sense of humor and always appreciated a good joke. There were always some good jokes at the family gatherings that he attended. Davis valued his family members and his family valued him.
Visitation will begin at 12pm on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Houston SPCA, 900 Portway Drive Houston, TX 77024.
