David Royce Thomas

To all that loved me, please know I’m not like you last seen me. No pains; no moans. Because guess what? I’m at home but I’m not alone. I’m with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, my brothers but most importantly I’m with the Lord Jesus Christ. David Royce Thomas was born June 19, 1982 to the parents of Doretha Stephens and Weldon Thomas Sr. in Houston, Texas. He accepted Christ at an early age at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. Baptized by Reverend Wilbert Baker. David attended 8th Avenue Elementary School in the Lower Heights and graduated from Heights High School formerly John H. Reagan in the year 2000.  He took up a career in marketing at Vertrue which prompted him to start his own business by the name of E-Savings for U which later became D.T Electronics.  David was preceded in death by his grandparents: Helen & Dillard Stephens; Joseph Thomas Sr.; Aunt Charlene Sellers; Brothers: Michael and Fred; Uncles: Roy Sellers Jr; Michael, Joseph Jr., Roy Lee, David and Myron Thomas. He leaves precious memories to his mother Doretha, 2nd mother Mary Rose, father Weldon Sr.; grandmother Gladys Thomas. Brothers: Weldon Jr. (Toni), Robert (Patricia), Frederick (aka Jack), Monte’. Aunts: Mary H. (W.K), Leona, Rose (Robert), Linda, Brenda, Debra, Willa J. (David), Delisa and Doris Allen.
