David Lee Shotwell

David graduated from Walled Lake High School. He met Tracy Bradley in Houston, Texas, and married on March 14, 1999. David worked as a field operator for Kinder Morgan for over 30 years. David had a passion for softball, bowling, volleyball, and was an avid reader.

David was a loving, son, brother, husband, father, and peepaw. He will forever be in our hearts and souls.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Shotwell and daughter, Kylar Shotwell.

David is survived by his father, Robert Shotwell; loving wife, Tracy Bradley; children, Jason Shotwell (Andrea Shotwell), Corte Shotwell (Abby Shotwell), Kelan Shotwell, Cymri Shotwell, and Kaell Shotwell; grandchildren, Jordan Shotwell, Emma Shotwell, Charlee Jones, Alexis Shotwell, and Krew Jones; siblings, Debbie Desormeaux (Roger Desormeaux), Mike Shotwell, and Ruth Ann Shotwell; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Special thanks to Kinder Morgan for going above and beyond, during this great time of need for the Shotwell family. Thank you to the medical staff at MD Anderson for 16 months of service and care.

A viewing for David will be held Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by the funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A reception will be held following the funeral service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and will be located within the reception hall of the funeral home.
