David Saenz

David Saenz, born in Alice, TX, on October 19, 1945, passed into the arms of our Heavenly Father on July 27, 2013. David’s father, Rafael Saenz, predeceased him. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Mary Helen (Lopez) Saenz, his daughters, Felicia Saenz and Leticia (Emilio) Salinas, his granddaughters, Amanda (Arthur) Miller, Christina Vela and Hannah Bishop, his grandson, A.J. Medina, and his great-grandsons, Arthur Jr. and Anthony Miller. Also surviving him are his mother, Bernice Martinez, and his brothers Noe (Victoria) Saenz, Raphael Saenz Jr. and Joe Saenz, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, with Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Houston at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, with Father Rivers Patout as celebrant. Interment immediately following at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, TX.
