David proudly graduated East Central High School of Tulsa Oklahoma, class of 1970. Passionate about baseball, his team won the state championship 1970. As an accomplished athlete he entered Baylor College, pitching his freshman year and later becoming a proud Oklahoma Sooners ball player. David graduated from OU in 1974 with a BA in business. David also obtained an MBA at Central State in Oklahoma. David then led a successful career in the oil and gas industry as a Landman, as well as holding principal ownership in multiple companies.
David's passion runs deep for sports and hobbies, he loved baseball and a leisurely rounds of golf, relaxing at the beach house and all the water sports he could handle. He loved cars, collecting art, sports memorabilia, watches and pens. Always looking forward to the next great vacation spot, David especially loved unique golf destinations. Memories of all the exciting adventures with family and friends could always bring a great smile to his face, but there was always one special smile and deeply seeded soft spot in his heart especially reserved for his family. He adored his family and children so much and never failed to express that to them. David lived life to the fullest and delivered occasions and events with a special flair, his events always gave you something great to look forward to.
David is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Boni-Reynolds; sons, Brandon Rich and his wife Ashlie, Dylan Reynolds, Rayne Reynolds, and Jordan Boni; daughter, Allison Boni; grandchildren, Maddyson, Payton, and Harper Rich. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday May 17, 2012 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM Friday May 18, 2012 in the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
