David Prestwood, age 64, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016. Born in Houston, Texas, he was a wonderful man, remarkable father, and a loving son and brother. Graduating from Sam Houston High School, he then attended Texas State University. He worked in the oil and gas industry for many years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Prestwood. Survived by wife, Edie Prestwood; daughter, Crystal Wood; father, Ray Prestwood and wife Evelyn; sister, Gaylynn Prestwood; niece, Tiffany Anderson and husband Keith; and brother-in-law, Ronnie Rankin and wife Mary, as well as numerous friends. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. He will be dearly missed and we will all be together again one day.
