David Eugene Miller

David E. Miller, 78 of Shenandoah, Texas passed away on January 8th, 2022. He was born in 1943 in Troy, Kansas to Sylvester Miller and Mary Jane Russell, but he lived in many places throughout his lifetime.

David was a medic in the Air Force in the 60’s and after completing his bachelor’s degree he had a long career as a comptroller/ Chief Financial Officer. He loved old westerns, football, comic books, hunting and fishing.

He was married to Sheila D. Miller for 54 years. Aside from being survived by his wife, David is survived by his 3 children, David Miller II, and his wife Beth; Jeff Miller, Heather Kraus, and her husband Ron; 2 grandchildren; Josh Miller and Noah Fithen. He had 9 brothers and sisters: Phyllis Rhyne (deceased), Virginia Sampson (deceased), Sue Heinen and her husband Ed, Ted Miller and his wife Anita, Steve Miller and his wife Suzie, Donna Miller, Tammy Eaton, and her husband James, Hazel Henkensiefken and her husband Albert, and Sylvester Miller Jr. (deceased).

A committal service for Mr. David Eugene Miller will take place at Houston National Cemetery on February 8, 2022 at 2:15pm. Please arrive in Lane 2 no later than 2pm.
