David F. Harris

David “Dave” was born on the 29th of November 1957, in Frankfurt, Germany to Alvin and Vivian Harris.

Dave attended Copperas Cove High School in Copperas Cove, Texas. Shortly after he graduated from high school he moved to Houston, Texas to begin working in the commercial drywall industry. In 1990, Dave started his own commercial drywall company called Harris Interiors and the business is still going strong to this day as Dave would want it to be.

Dave had a passion for the Dallas Cowboys! He never missed watching a single game! Dave had a goal to visit every NFL stadium with his wife Jenny. They had visited 25 out of 31 stadiums!

Dave is predeceased by his father, Alvin David Harris.

Dave is survived by his loving wife, Jenny Walsh Harris, they were married in Houston, Texas on the 23rd of March 2013.

Dave is also lovingly remembered by his two children, Jesse and Amy Harris; his granddaughter, Ruth Caroline Kascak; his mother, Vivian Harris; his siblings, Debbie Baty, Lorna Loyd, Lori Harris, Tim Harris, John Harris and Michael Harris and countless friends and colleagues.

A memorial service is to be conducted at four o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 25th of September, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception to be held in the adjacent grand foyer.
