David was born on September 5, 1966, in Matamoros to Jose Gutierrez and Alicia Fernendez. He proudly served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army for eight years. After his faithful service to this country, David worked as a software engineer. On September 4, 2010, he married Michelle, and they made their life together in Tomball, TX, serving Jesus and others.
David had a passion for music and a genuine love for others. He is remembered by his family, friends, and coworkers as a generous person whose smile and small acts of kindness were a constant source of encouragement to all who had the joy of knowing him.
David is survived by his mother and father, Jose and Alicia, his wife Michelle, his children Jennifer, Jacklyn, Kristopher, Glechelle, and Leighann. Grandchildren, Kaiden, London, and Audrey. He is also survived by his sister Graciela, and his brothers Javier, and Raul.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26th from 9: 30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at American Heritage Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 p.m. Interment immediately following at Houston National Cemetery.

A committal service will occur Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A burial will occur at Houston National Cemetery.

David tenía una pasión por la música y un amor genuino por los demás. Su familia, amigos y compañeros de trabajo lo recuerdan como una persona generosa cuya sonrisa y pequeños actos de bondad fueron una fuente constante de aliento para todos los que tuvieron la alegría de conocerlo.

El velorio se realizará el miércoles 26 de agosto de 9:30 a.m. a 12:30 p.m. en American Heritage Funeral Home, seguido de una celebración de la vida a la 1:00 p.m. Inmediatamente después el sepelio en el Cementerio Nacional de Houston.
