David Evans Dickson

David Evans Dickson was born on November 19, 1957, in Houston, Texas, to the parents of Wilbert and Annie Dickson.He accepted Christ at an early age at the St. Andrews United Methodist Church. He attended John F. Kennedy Elementary School and Junior High School at Booker T. Washington where he graduated. He worked for Finger’s Warehouse Furniture Co. where he retired after 20 years. He also worked with his Dad as a “hot shot” delivery driver man.He was a happy go lucky young man, always had a smile on his face. He met no stranger. On Wednesday at 4:00 P.M. July 12, 2023, David gained his heavenly wings and was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven at the Tomball Nursing Home. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, brother, grandfather, and grandmother.David leaves to cherish his memory, his brother, Wilbert Jr.; his loving and caring aunt, Elma Rivers; special cousins, Ronnie (Shirley) Rivers, Dee (John) Gladney; and a host of cousins, friends, and church family.

Services will be held at St. Andrew U.M.C. for David will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 starting at 10:00 AM at St. Andrew UMC, 6235 Maybell St, Houston, TX 77091. Interment will immediately follow at Paradise Cemetery North, 10401 W Montgomery Rd, Houston, TX 77088.
