David "Cody" Bogard

David “Cody” Bogard, 32, died unexpectedly on March 12, 2012 with his family and friends by his side. Through this tragedy, Cody has touched the hearts of so many and will be remembered as a wonderful father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend.

He was born December 16, 1979 in Houston, Texas to Nancy Riviere and Kenneth Bogard. He graduated from Elkins High School in 1997 and went on to work in the commercial construction and air conditioning fields at which he was proudly excelling in before his passing. He enjoyed sports, snowboarding, camping, shooting and video games, but mostly spending time with his beloved son.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Riviere; father, Kenny Bogard; stepfather, Earl Riviere; son, Brandon Bogard; grandparents, Ed and Darla Bogard and Barbara and Ron Lammert; sisters, Shelly Daigle and Rebecca Ewing; brother, Chandler Laird; nephews, Dustin Wynn, Jonathan Wynn and Noah Ewing; nieces Dinah Daigle, Lylah Ewing, and Alexa Laird, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00pm and funeral Services will held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10:00am at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, and Interment to follow in the cemetery. The family asks that donations be made in honor of his son in lieu of flowers.
