David Allen Baggett

David Allen Baggett, age 82, of Spring, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021. David was born September 1, 1938 to Elvin Barton "Barto" Baggett and Olivia "Ollie" Lee Lowe in Joaquin, Texas. David attended Sam Houston High School where he met his wife Billie. David worked many jobs, but most of his work had to do with expanding and building their home on Hopper Road in North Houston. There was never a shortage of things to work on, but David found time to go fishing, compete in bowling leagues and pool tournaments, and coach the various baseball and football teams his children were a part of. Later in life he enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, watching the Astros with Billie, and sharing jokes.

David is preceded in death by his brother Zack, his parents, Elvin and Olivia, and his wife Billie. Left to cherish his memory, children: Steven Baggett, Bart Baggett and wife Renee, Rene Baggett and husband Gary Caka, Cherea Baggett and husband Bryan Kelm; grandchildren: Bryan Baggett and wife Melissa, Chad Alexander, Brittany Baggett and husband Brandon Reese, Chase Baggett, and Daylie De'Nae Carter; great-grandchildren: Kyle Reese, Cheyenne Reese, Lilian Baggett, Ava Baggett, Kaiden James Clark, Adalena Baggett, Eli Reese, Ethan Reese, and Jax Logan Carter.

A visitation for David will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral service will occur Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Following is the committal service at Brookside Memorial Park.
