Darren Jay Van Orden, born January 3, 1970 in Goshen, New York, entered into rest on November 17, 2013. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph "Jack" Van Orden, and both maternal and paternal grandparents. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Shannon Van Orden; children, Brooklynn Van Orden, Trenton Van Orden and Kaitlyn Walston; mother, Susan Mora Van Orden; sister, Melanie Van Orden Samuelson and husband, Chris Samuelson; brothers, Kenneth Van Orden and wife, Laura Jo Van Orden, Jerry Van Orden, Kevin Van Orden and wife, Kellie Van Orden; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Darren was graciously a LifeGift Donor. Serving as Pallbearers: Kenneth Van Orden, Jerry Van Orden, Kevin Van Orden, Chris Samuelson, Michael Sellers, Richard Senger and Jack Westlund. Honorary Pallbearer: Trenton Van Orden. A reception will be held immediately following graveside services at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home in state room A & B.
