Our thoughts and prayers are with the Smith family. Darrell had been a beacon of light, and he had spread his love and generosity to all whom he had touched.

I will miss you dearly. You were my mentor, guide, and good friend through all the years that I had known you.

To Sam, Silver and each member of our family, we know that words somehow seem inadequate to help us in our grief. It just hurts so much to say goodbye when a loved one, such as Darrell must leave our presence.

To rev and sister smith I am so sorry to here of your lost even though he will be miss but not forgotten he is in a much better place you see I always think about him in my Sunday school class and oh my how time has pass so I am sending my condolences to the entire smith family

God saw that he had gotten weary, so He did what He knew was best. He came and stood beside him, and whispered, come and rest.

Rev and Sister Samuel H. Smith and family, our condolences comes highly to say that we sympathisize with you all in the time of experiencing a great loss. We all must cross this path; but it is uncertain when our time must come. Darrell knew the Lord based on his up-bringing, so we are certain that he has passed over to a more beautiful place to be with the Lord. Therefore, it leaves us great pleasure knowing that Darrell was able to identify with his time of departure. Remember to look to the hills for which cometh your help for all of your help will truly come from the Lord. We will keep you all lifted in prayer.
