TOMBALL- Darnell Garcia, a long-time resident of the Tomball area, lost her battle with cancer, Monday the 12th of December at HealthSouth Care Center. Born in 1943 in Houston, Texas, Darnell graduated from Aldine High School in 1960. She began her family with the birth of Dwayne and shortly followed Gary, Darren and Kristy. Darnell dedicated her life to her children and never missed a chance to show them the meaning of hard work. In 1976 Darnell married the love of her life, Santos Garcia and together they raised her four children.
Darnell began her career in the freight industry as a sales person and eventually became an entrepreneur. She owned several business including, Tomball Janitorial, which she owned for over 15 years until retirement.
In her free time, Darnell loved caring for animals of every sort and dedicated her time to their care. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She spent the majority of her time in retirement caring for her special needs child, Dwayne.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Greene and Mary Margaret Fox and one child, Collier Dwight Boles.
She is survived by Donald Dwayne Boles of Tomball, Gary and Julie Boles of Lubbock, Darren and Debra Boles of Tomball and Kristy and Firoz Jhaver of Houston. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica Rohrbaugh, Emily Bradford, Emilee Boles, Ashlynne Boles, Alyssa Boles, Adam Jhaver and Kaysen Jhaver.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Forest Park Funeral Home at 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, Texas 77023.
