Darlene received her wings from our Heavenly Father on September 9, 2013 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She is preceded in death by her father, Lee Allen and her sisters Lois Webster and Carolyn Allen. She is survived by her four children, Carolyn McDaniel, Steve Overton, Loretta Overton and Melody Nixon, seven grand children, six great grand children, and numerous family and friends. Her unconditional love for her family and friends was amazing. She was not only a mother to her biological children, but to many of their friends as well. Darlene never met a stranger. She is loved by so many and will be missed dearly. We love you Mom!!
