Daniel Felix Weaver

Daniel Felix Weaver, age 83 of New Waverly, Texas entered into rest on September 23, 2023. He was born in Sulphur Rock, Arkansas on September 28, 1939 to parents, Royal Dean Jennings and Mabel Jewel Weaver.

Dan was married to Katherine Marie Boles on July 23, 1965, and remained so until her death on November 27, 2012. Together in addition to son Bobby Deiss, they had two daughters, Dana Weaver Ladd and Gina Weaver Torres. Grandson/Son John Daniel Ladd. Granddaughters Kaitlyn Torres, Kaycee Torres, and Kaley Torres. Great Grandchildren Marquis Ladd, Sylvia Katherine Torres Alvarez, and Levi Galvan Robles.

Dan was blessed to marry Debra Wilkerson at Porter Texas VFW on September 16, 2017. Adding stepson, Danny White, and two step daughters, Michelle Johnson and Jennifer Alford. Grandchildren Zachary Cleveland, Logan and Eli Alford, Brianna Alvarez and Baileigh Alford. Kade, Kelsey, Kathryn, and Kody Johnson. Danny White and Tabitha Tinsley. Great grandchildren Trey White, Elizabeth Alvarez, and Scarlet McMullen.

Dan was blessed to have a large circle of family, extended family and too many close friends to list. He was admired and respected by all that knew him. He was great man that will forever be missed by many.

Dan ran a very successful car repair shop, Weaver Auto Service, for several decades. He was a 32nd Degree Master Mason, Aldine AF&M Masonic Lodge, and he was on the Board of Directors for the Little York Volunteer Fire Department. Dan really loved playing country music with the Country Grass Band, he was a licensed Auctioneer and always assisted with many benefits, especially at the Porter Texas VFW. Upon being drafted into the U.S. Army in 1963, Dan proudly served two years of Active Duty and earned the Army Good Conduct medal, the National Defense service medal, and the Army Mechanic Badge.

His hobbies and interests also included sports, hunting and bowling.

He is preceded in death Wife Katherine Marie Weaver, Father Royal Dean Jennings, Mother Mabel Jewel Thompson, Uncle Bernard Hodges Patterson, and Aunt Norma Weaver Patterson.

Daniel is survived by Wife Debbie Weaver, Son Bobby Deiss, Daughters Dana Ladd, Gina Torres, and Grandson/Son John Daniel Ladd.

Serving as Pallbearers are, Danny White, Benji Johnson, John Ladd, Marquis Ladd, Carl Hopkins, and John Chandler. Honorary pallbearer, Bobby Deiss.

A visitation for Daniel will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A graveside service will occur Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
