Daniel Vela Sr.

Daniel, born in March of 1962, grew up in New Braunfels, TX, one of 8 children, Jesse (Martha), Joe Manuel (Alice), Joe Alfredo (Sidellia), Amelia Cantu (David), Reynaldo (Cinthia), Pinkie, Helen Hall (Scott) to Anastacio and Angelita Vela.

At the age of 17, he married Margaret Fernandez on 23 May 1979, together they had 4 beautiful children. Daniel lived a full life, often enjoying playing guitar, baseball, softball, fishing, being a charismatic storyteller, Barbequing, woodworking, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family. He excelled in his career earning various certifications, an Associates of Science in Structural Engineering and achieving a senior position in the field of Oil and Gas Treatment.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Vela, 4 loving children DJ (Amanda), Nicole (Jesse), Madlyn, & Lilly, and 4 beautiful grand-children Clementine, Griffin, Ellie, and Eli.

He is preceded in death by his parents Anastacio and Angelita Vela
