Daniel Alva Martinez, age 57, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 in Pasadena, Texas. He is survived by his wife Janie Martinez, four children and spouses, Kimberly and Moses, Stephen and Dorothea, Joshua and Judith, Daniel and Rosa; 6 grandchildren, Mikey, Kaitlin, Madison, Noah, Isela and Mason. His mother Carmen Martinez and siblings Stella, Anthony, Elizabeth, Eve, Adam, Michael, and James. Daniel was a Centerpoint lineman for 28 years, and the Houston Texans #1 fan!
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 26 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 6 p.m. and Prayer service at 7 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. All services will be held at Monument Baptist Church 3602 East Blvd. Deer Park, Texas 77536. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, Houston, TX, where funeral arrangements are under.
