Daniel Leslie Arceneaux Sr. was born on January 30th, 1977 to Benedict and Flordia Mae Arceneaux. Growing up in Rosewood, on the north side of Houston, Texas, he was surrounded by the love of his family, friends, and the community. As a young boy, Daniel enjoyed playing basketball in the back yard, and frequently went go-cart riding with his daddy and friends. He learned very young the value of hard work, and worked with his daddy every weekend. One of his favorite things to do was ride his bike through the neighborhood.
Daniel graduated from M.B. Smiley High School and afterward attended San Jacinto Junior College briefly before going to work for LoneStar Ford. He worked there for several years before joining Grocers Supply where we was employed for a number of years. After GS, Daniel was employed as a truck driver for several companies.
Daniel married Ebony Bedford, and along with her beautiful daughter Kayla Mosley, they grew their family to include Daniel Leslie Arceneaux Jr., and Gabrielle Arceneaux.
Daniel enjoyed cooking and hanging out with his family and friends. He was often the life of the party.
Daniel accepted Christ and was baptized at Fontaine First Baptist Church.
Daniel departed this earth on May 20th, 2022. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Flordia and Benedict, respectively, as well as sister, Sharon Culpepper.
Daniel’s memory is celebrated by many family and friends who will miss him.
