Maris had the most beautiful smile. Whenever I saw her she would say, with a big smile,
"Call on me and I will answer you....(Jeremiah 33:3)" - a verse on a gift I gave her when she was hospitalized a few years ago. I knew she was always calling on Him, and now is resting in peace.

Damaris would tell me at bedtime, "sleep with the angels."  Now she really is sleeping with the angels.
