Dale was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend. He was born on December 8,1940 in Houston TX and resided there until the year 2018 when he relocated to Las Vegas, NV. to be near his daughter Nancy and grandson Aaron who reside there.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He worked for many years in the family's printing business with his sister Vanita (deceased) and brother Irven Ben Brockman, Jr. (deceased).
His life-long passion was playing poker which he frequently did since living in Las Vegas. He taught his grandson, Aaron how to play poker at the age of five, and to this day, Aaron as an adult has the same passion for playing poker as his PawPaw did.
Dale enjoyed traveling with Dixie, his wife, who is now deceased. Dale and Dixie were the proud grandparents of Aaron and Natalie and often participated in their school adventures whether it be Aaron playing football or when he joined ROTC, or when their granddaughter Natalie participated in band competitions playing her bassoon, or played percussion at her high school football games. Natalie has fond memories of the time she had a school project when she was 8 with a flat Stanley made of cardboard. The assignment was to take a trip with the flat Stanley and then write about her trip. Her grandparents Dale and Dixie took her to Galveston Tx with the flat Stanley and rode the Galveston ferry.
Dale is survived by his daughter Nancy Hall, grandson Aaron Ybarbo, and granddaughter Natalie Hall.
He is predeceased by his parents Irven B. Brockman Sr., Anita Brockman, wife, Dixie Brockman, daughter Nova Jean Dies, siblings, Shirley Krenek, Vanita Demel (brother-in-law Elwood-deceased), Irven B. Brockman, Jr. (sister-in-law Betty-deceased).
Dad/PawPaw, You will always be in our hearts and we'll always treasure the memories.
Rest in peace. We love you.
