Cynthia Renee Wilson

Cynthia Renee (Guillory) Wilson passed away July 16,2024 at the age of 60. She was born on July 28,1963 to the late John Lee Guillory and Mrs. Rose Marie Guillory in Lake Charles,La.

Cynthia graduated from Lake Charles High School Class of 1981. She then attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles,Louisiana. Then later transferred to Texas Southern University in Houston,TX. While attending Texas Southern University

she pledged Sigma Gamma Rho Inc.

Cynthia began her career in Education working for districts: Aldine,Spring,Humble and Calcasieu Parish Public Schools for 25+ years.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband James “Darryl “ Wilson and her father John Lee Guillory.

Cherishing her memories are her children, Shameika and Justin, her beautiful granddaughters, Nasya,Brielle, and Sariya. Her mother Rose Marie Wilson Guillory, her siblings, Debra Guillory Washington (Landry), John F. Guillory (Geraldine) and Tammie Jackson (James)and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Cynthia will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 10 AM to 11:00 AM at Paradise Funeral Home Chapel, located at 10401 W. Montgomery Rd. Houston, Texas 77088. The Funeral Service will immediately follow from 11 AM to 12 PM.
